CHAIRMAN'S WELCOME

My name is Rich Hirschberg and I am the chairman of this year’s show. I am very pleased with the way things are shaping up for the show. Any and all alternative fuel vehicles, organizations, and businesses are welcome to attend either by individual or by fleet.

The main focus this year is two-prong.

With NGVs (natural gas vehicles) , their acceptance levels, and the associated technology improving quickly, both EVs (electric vehicles) and NGVs will be highlighted. Expect to see a good turn out from the Fox Valley Electric Automobile Association, the Chicago Area Clean Cities Coalition, and NGV-related businesses.

It is never too late to become involved in the show for this year.

Many businesses, clubs, and organizations are being invited to participate. RSVPs are a necessity - sponsorship and booth forms are available on the SPONSORSHIP page.

As always, we hope to feature many different alt fuels; vehicles that run on batteries (electrics), hybrid technology, biodiesel, veggie oil, natural gas, e-85, propane, solar cells, fuels cells, and human energy (aka: pedal power).

FOCUS ON VISITORS: many visitors will pass through the show.
Utilize this captive audience by educating them on your vehicle, form of fuel, organization, or business.
